Quick Question, will i be able to tether the ipad with the unlimited iphone data plan i have using the hotspot feature? Or do i need to convert to a tethering plan?

Which means you'd have to give up your iphone unlimited data plan.
Other option is jailbreak and use MiWi. Multiple threads on this with more info.
oh that sucks. I think i will pick up the 3g version then. I needed this answer to decide which version i need to pick up..
This stinks. Big time. It was going to solve a problem for me... And I just don't want to jailbreak, but they are making it hard to resist.
