run on integrated gfx only on youtube?

hi all i just got my 15" mbp and installed gfxcardstatus and was wondering if it is safe and fine to run on integrated graphics while watching 1080p vids on youtube

by safe i mean will it have any long or short term negative effects to forcing the integrated gfx to run whenever i choose rather then letting it switch with discreet gfx on its own?

It will not be detrimental to your hardware in the slightest.

If it works, and results in smooth playback, there are no downsides to forcing the use of the IGP. If it's not smooth, just switch back to the dedicated chip. Easy.
