My previous mac was a 2009 13" MBP. After debating for weeks whether to get an MBA,low end 15", high end 15", SSD no SSD, I am completely happy with my purchase: 15" 2.2 HR glossy 750 GB 5400.
First of all, I'm experiencing no issues at all besides a minor issue in starcraft that is fixed when I turn off automatic graphic switching. Running beautifully.
This thing is blowing me away. Besides the screen upgrade (my screen-space feels like an iMax experience compared to the 13"), this thing is running HL2 EP2 at 2048x1152 all high settings (ext monitor) in OSX. It plays starcraft 2 at high settings. PS4 loads way faster. Best part of it is, with SATA 6Gbs get cheap enough, I'm ready plug on in. I'm a musician and play live shows with my laptop... again, it's a whole new experience working on a laptop for music.
I made this post to offset all the whiney people on here... it's a great machine people! you will be happy for those people on the fence!
