I probably will buy a powerbook over the summer. I just bought a new tv that has a svideo input. I tested it on my pc, and it works great. I was wondering if there was someway i will be able to hook up my powerbook to svideo as i dont think there is an svideo port on it.

Apple sells an adapter (http://store.apple.com/1-800-MY-APPLE/WebObjects/AppleStore.woa/70407/wo/5I32HH8cntFL3ySpf352kJTNcQ2/2.0.11.1.0.6.12.1.41.1.17.0) from the 12" mini-DVI port to s-video:
"The Apple Mini-DVI to Video Adapter was designed specifically for use with the latest 12-inch PowerBook G4 (models introduced in September 2003). The adapter connects to the Mini-DVI port on the new 12-inch PowerBook G4 and provides both S-video and Composite video connectors. It allows many devices such as TVs, VCRs, or overhead projectors with S-Video or RCA (Composite) connectors to be connected to your new 12-inch PowerBook G4."

Apple has a Mini-DVI to S-Video adaptor you can buy. I think it is $20-30. Check the Apple Store.
