I'm using home Sharing to stream content to my ATV2, the only method I have to keep the stream working i to use:

CTRL + Shift + Eject

Placing my screen to sleep but not my laptop. Does anyone know of a way of streaming to ATV2 while having my machine lid closed?

...or is this feature coming with Lion, as it just seems silly to have to leave the lid open when using Home Sharing.

For home sharing, the hard drive and other components must be running, so you wouldn't be able to sleep anything other than the display.

Will 'wake on wireless' wake a MBP with the lid closed?

I sleep my Mini until such time as the ATV needs to access files, then it wakes it automatically.

This feature is only possible through Airport, I believe.
