I think he's calling attention to the 2 spinning spoked wheels in the download view.
I don't know if that means they are both being downloaded simultaneously though. It may be that one is being downloaded, the other is being unpacked, or MD5 hashed, etc. It may just be a "working on this" spoked wheel. However, there's no reason it cannot download many things simultaneously assuming your connection is fast enough.

Do you mean that the same program is downloaded twice...?
...or are you trying to draw attention to (two) new downloads available through Software Update...?
...and why on Earth don't you install the Security Update...?

Hate to resurrect this thread, but I think I can top the double downloads.
How about double updates??
(Yes, I know I need to install the security update!)
Edit: No, it's not a Photoshop trick.

How are you toping it? I don't get it.. one is a security update, one is an update for the iPod?
EDIT: Oooh.. is it 2 System Update windows opened simultaneously with slightly different content?

EDIT: Oooh.. is it 2 System Update windows opened simultaneously with slightly different content?Bingo. It seemed odd that I would have two instances of Software Update running. The fact that they have different content is even stranger...

My iMac had that. It was folding and I forgot to turn off the "Check for updates" thing. Long story short:
8 instances of Software Update running. Some with the same updates, some with different ones.

It is probably because both of those things are for Final Cut Pro HD.
