I'm thinking we won't see the Moto G5 as the next processor for the Mac - it will probably be something else. At least I hope so.....we've been waiting around for too long on this one.....

I'm waiting for official word that Motorola has been scrapped...

as for the next generation...I have this feeling we're gonna see the G4 get pushed as far as it can go till sometime next summer...

i think apples gonna skip ( or sidestep) the g5 completely...

obviously they'll release another faster/better computer but the whole G5 thing has grown into this mythical machine that they'll never live up to.

There will be a G5 or some other new chip when it's ready. And not a day sooner.

maybe they might get rid of the "G" series n go to the "Power" series ;), n start out a Power4 (even tho the power4 processor wont be used on the g5 powermac lol)

March seems too early to develop a complete system and get the kinks worked out with all the software -- unless Apple is using that ol' Cray Supercomputer to simulate hardware/software (kinda like an exotic back-room Virtual PC, but wih Motorola chips).

I voted for July.
