So I want to send photos from my iPad out to clients that have the correct file name when they were placed in the synced folder, such as "Berkshires.2.11.11.jpg" instead of the very much useless "Photo.jpg".

Can I can do this from my mobile me / iDisk account with hi-res on that cloud synced to low res for comp only on my iPad and have the file names jive?

What is needed in order to do this?

iFiles should do what you want. Not only that but for people who miss a traditional file system it's a pretty good alternative. Also it's a universal app.
