I've created a free (ad-supported) version of Jiroft which previously cost 99c. Basically, Jiroft allows you to create any board game you like using the game pieces provided in the app, as you would in real life. I've linked to a YouTube link which demonstrates the app.

Unfortunately, there was no way for me to capture the app directly from the iPad (I had to use the simulator) , and though what the Youtube video is quite close to the real thing, I believe it doesn't capture the real strengths of Jiroft, which includes the multitouch capabilities, allowing you to rotate, resize and move the pieces on the board intuitively, using the appropriate gestures. This capabilities of the iPad finger tracking means it's also possible for two players playing on the same iPad to move and manipulate their pieces at the same time.

App Store: http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/jiroft/id412044777?mt=8

If anyone has any suggestions for any improvements/ game pieces I might add, please post them here.

Thanks ;)
