Can I hook up my ibook g3 14" inverter board to my powerbook g4 1.5ghz logic board safely so that I could power the ibook monitor? I tried using it with the powerbook inverter but it didn't work. I guess the smaller, older lcd is higher power than the bigger powerbook screen.

I haven't tested the ibook g3 inverter, but the wiring seems to be the same for the most part.. just different color code. Two of the colors are the same and seem to have the same placement ( I believe black and grey)...


powerbook inverter tested good. Wondering if I should ground it anywhere. I grounded it to case and then touched lcd to case and I got a short...
