iPad2: can I use Skype and make notes?

I haven't bought the iPad2 yet. Hope somebody that uses it can help!

Can you make notes when you use Skype?

I plan to use Skype for language learning, so it would be good to be able to make notes while chatting. Can you?

Are you asking if Skype has a note taking function? If so, the answer is no.

Are you asking if you can use a note taking app while having a voice conversation via Skype? If so, the answer is absolutely.

I asked the 2nd question.

Means you stay voice connected and can open the (or 'a') note/text application and write something?

Does it work with video chats too?

And how you switch? Via the home button?

Skype works as background app, once you have started chatting with the other the end just press the home button and launch any app you want to take notes. It does not matter if the connection is voice or video.
