I have a new MacBook Air. It I will often turn on iTunes and let the computer sit. After about an hour the Air will log me out automatically.

Since I don't want the computer to log out so soon, I have tried going to the System Preferences > Security and fiddled with the field that says "Log out after ___ minutes of inactivity." EVERY time I open this Security panel this field says "63" minutes. I change this to a number like 140 minutes, but as soon as I close the system preferences window and reopen it, the field has reverted back to 63 minutes.

This has to be some sort of bug right? I mean who chooses 63 minutes?

Please help,
Arthur

Security logout pref reverts to 63 minutes...

Weird. I just discovered this on one of my Snow Leopard iMacs. User had iTunes running. We had changed logout time to 90 minutes. It reverted to 63 and promptly logged him out.

Time to dig around for the what and why.
