What do you want? An iBook suits your needs based on that post - 12" or 14", starting at 1,000.

I'd say it's better to spring a few extra $s and get a high-end 12in. iBook (or Powerbook, depending on what you are really looking at). That way you don't have to worry about dealing with 3rd party refurbishers or anything like that. Getting a mid-grade hard drive, combo or super drive, bluetooth...you can get it for about $1,099, about.

$1000 is still too high for me I want nothing more expensive then $600. An iBook clamshell would be nice or an old tiBook or a g3 powerbook.

I've got a Firewire Pismo, It's not in "like new" condition, but it runs Mac OS 9 fine, I'm pretty sure it can run 10.2 as well. I've got plenty of upgrades for it that I plan on installing.

email me if you're interested.

I know I don't have a laptop to sell or that, but you might want to check http://www.techrestore.com they sell a lot of Apple Laptops for cheap. You can get an 800MHz G3 256MB RAM 30GB HDD Combo drive iBook w/Battery and charger for $549 or cheaper. You should check it out.

EDIT: removed part, they didn't have it there

EDIT2: changed it to 800MHz G3

I also have a TiBook that I might consider selling. It's 500mhz with 20gig HD, 512MB RAM, DVD drive, Airport card, etc. It is in perfect condition and looks brand new. Contact me at JMT529@excite.com or on AIM at TrAnteater if you are interested.

I have a Powerbook Pismo which has been upgraded with a Powerlogix G4 500 processor (that's a FACTORY-installed upgraded, NOT a do-it-at-home job!).

It's in very good physical shape -no cracks, no chips, and very little surface wear from normal use. The screen is excellent, the screen hinges are nice and tight, the keyboard is excellent, and the trackpad is nicely responsive. --basically everything is just as it should be!

It has been upgraded with a 30 gig HD, 256 megs RAM, and has the yo-yo power adapter.

I'm selling it for $599 plus shipping
Let me know if you're interested, and I can send photos.
