Got a cool little sneak preview going on for you guys today. I recently got into contact with a guy named John who makes Anodized Aluminum cases for the iPhone 4. He will be starting a new company soon and wanted to share some of the stuff he has going on. He has some very early preview builds and it still in production of these cases. Give your thoughts and opinions!

Here are some pics.

I like the looks of it! Nice colors and designs both from and back. Looks like it's a 2 piece case, but it does look like it will be on the heavier side, but I could be wrong. Hopefully, no reception issues, but being that it's aluminum.....

I agree with some of the comments already here...they definitely need more work. I can't quite place my finger on it, but something just doesn't look right about them. Also, I can tell you from experience...I'm sitting on 3 different companies prototypes of all aluminum cases that have a "closed back" (the back of the case is completely covered in aluminum), that in almost all scenarios, it will drastically affect the GPS reception abilities of the phone. ExoVault, Xcel technologies, Fusionwerkz, and one other company's prototypes that I've dealt with have all had fully enclosed backs, and each one would knock out the GPS reception completely, or make it so that its tracking was very unreliable. And each of those companies now acknowledge that, or have completely changed their designs to some form of an open back. So keep that in mind when "designing" these cases.
