I have a late 2008 aluminium macbook (not pro)

It has two 1GB 1066 sticks in it.

I took 4GB (2X2GB 1333) out of my new i7 iMac.

Will the 4GB i took out of my iMac work in this machine?

Thanks. :)

the Aluminum macbook late 2008 is using pc3 1066MHz memory. You might try it, but i don't think it's going to work.

It should work, as typically 1333 RAM is backwards compatible with 1067MHz machines, although it certainly doesn't work the other way around. It may run at 1067MHz, but it should work fine.
