View Full Version : Breasts tell a woman's personality?

An Italian psychologist has come up with a theory that the shape of a woman's breasts reflects her personality. I guess I'm larger than life then ;)
http://www.theregister.co.uk/2005/02/25/breast_shape/
Absolutely ridiculous and I love The Register's take on the sexologist but it amused me on a Monday morning and it's a change from the male genitalia threads!

New nickels and tax refunds threads have more replies than this thread

If you're going to believe in a crackpot physical representation of personality traits, phrenology (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phrenology) has a lot more history to love.

That was quite good for a laugh this morning...
But he failed in one aspect - what about fake breasts? These are the genetically altered fruits here and since the women actually choose what they want, that might have more bearing on their personality than anything nature gave them to begin with.

Ha, I don't really know what to say...
This guy's theory only holds water if all womens' breasts actually resemble some sort of fruit....sounds like a topic ripe for research, but I doubt such research will be fruitful.

Hmm, I'd say that 'artificial' breast size determines a woman's intellect. I know several naturally well-endowed women with degrees, good jobs and high intelligence.
The Bild photos were fascinating - I appear to be a fruit salad since I can't decide between pears, melons and grapefruits.

I think it is the converse: it is a man's intellect that is related to how closely he thinks a women's intellect correlates to her breast size or shape.

And you're surprised that a one sided, sexually focused thread like this is going to degenerate into hormone mongering? Other than being politically correct, there's no place to go with this.

Not trying to bash, just comment. Maybe we don't know your sense of humour. On a funny note, the article has a good bit that made me laugh:
"...the shocking conclusion of Lorenzoni's study is that women don't like sex very much and the form and volume of their assets makes little or no difference in the matter.
Having said that, there is another possible explanation, and one favoured by our own Lucy Sherriff: that women do not want to have sex with Piero Lorenzoni"

...one of these on his car:

I would say "quack scientist", i.e. a man who thinks he has found a clever way to turn mens' fondness for a fun part of womens' anatomy into a career. Good luck, I guess.

When i first heard of the story my first thought was that I had seen or heard this before. My fever wracked brain was saying phrenology and pondering how wonderful the woman is attached to the truly magnificent pair that warm by back all night.
That thought lead to no where useful.
I thought that mammary morphology is related to ethnicity and to ancient tribe which would account for similarities between appearance and behavior. It still bothered me when I couldn't remember where I had seen much the same study before.
Then I remembered back to the 95... And a series of photos surfaced from the northeast. Students at Wellesley and Harvard and MIT back in the 60s. It was a posture study to predict future success.
For a long while there were nude pictures of Hillary Clinton floating around the internet. She was probably the net's biggest porn star for a week or two.

Guy says: Show me your breasts and I will tell you about your personality.
Gals says: um, ok.
Guy says: I've come to the conclusion that you are gullible. But I'll need to see more before I can tell you everything.
I think fake breasts are an insight to personality. But then, fake anything on a person is basically the same.
