Does kinda remind me of the whole headphone things they put on the 'pre-criminals' in Minority Report. I don't wear my iPod when I'm traveling and such, only when I'm in a computer lab or office working and don't want to bother others with my music. I feel that walking around listening to music is rude to those around you, and you miss out on part of life because you are not interacting, but in your own little world.

that commercial's funny, but it doesnt have the _____ness of the original 1984. it would have been funnier if he had another mp3 player, but still great.

Funny but it just didn't give off that 1984 feel. Of course, making a parody of the best commercial ever is pretty hard to pull off and they did a good job. Just didn't feel right.

I know that. That's why I didn't say it was horrible. But if you make a parody of the best, its hard for it to work sometimes because it was the best and everyone recognizes it as such.

I just said that it didn't quite give the same feeling as 1984. Could have easily gone a bit farther to that by darkening the lights, used harsher lighting, etc. Would have given it a much different look than that.
That's just one reason why, and it was pretty good. Just not the best, which it is being compared to.
