Maybe someone here can shed some light on this problem. I am using DP2 and for some reason, preview wont forget files after they've been closed. All of the files in the list have been closed, but for some reason, they are still displayed in this list after they've been closed. I can click on them and they open like they were just minimized. Any ideas what could be going on here?

That's kinda like a "Recently Opened/Edited" feature. It's been here since DP1. Once you get used to it it can be quite handy. :)

I can see how it might be useful, but at the same time, it clutters everything up (especially mission control) and makes it difficult to find the document I'm working on.

Make sure to file a feedback/report on your complaint. I think you are right and it may not make sense to show so much. Maybe a much smaller subset.

Wait, recently closed windows are actually in Mission Control as well? Eek! My Exposť is cluttered up enough as it is...

It also seems to continue showing files after you delete them!

problem? thats an awesome feature! now you can open recent documents from a closed/opened app (like Win 7's jump lists) instead of using the global recent items menu, which is for all apps.

if its showing in Mission Control when the app is closed then yeah, i agree its cluttered and shouldn't show. maybe should just show in app windows Expose when the app is open and scrolling over the dock icon & in the right click menu when open/closed.
