Can I upgrade a 15inch pb 1.5Ghz to have 128mb Vram? In the apple website you can't do that, but i keep on seeing poeple around here who have their powerbooks upgraded. This would help a lot for me in deciding on a computer to buy.

Another question: Can you get applecare after you've bought a mac? If so, how late can you buy it?

thanks a lot guys :D

not on the current models.

the previous model 15" Powerbooks were available with a 1.33 or 1.5ghz processor. and the same thing there, the quicker processor had the VRAM upgrade.

About the vram, im pritty sure you can't upgrade it once you have the thing, but the applecare you can buy anytime up to a year after you get the machine. A year of support comes standard. You can get the extra 2 years anytime before the first year expires. I wouldnt wait till the very last day tho :p
