I'm a neat freak when it comes to my desktop. I can't, for the life of me, figure out how to align the icons on my desktop to a grid. I might be overlooking it so can somebody clue me in, please?

How do I align icons on desktop?

Click on the desktop so that it says "Finder" in the upper left corner. Go up to the "View" menu and select "Clean Up" or "Arrange." Under Arrange you have the following choices:
By Name
By Date Modified
By Date Created
By Size
By Kind
By Lable
Should work like a charm.

OSX has been an extremely easy swich for me. I've had very few things I couldn't figure out. My tech background probably helps though.
