The Pentium 4 is a quad-pumped bus, so the clock speed is technically running at 133MHz, but it transfers two bits of data on the rising and falling edges of each clock for effectively 533MHz (4 bits of data x 133MHz clock).
If apple could easly double the speed of the bus by having it work the same was a DDR RAM, so it would go at 333 MHz, fast enought to really compete with the P4s bus!
