I wanted to start a thread about the G5 because I don't want to hear anymore speculation about the G5. We don't know, unless you work at Motorola or Apple, so the progress of the G5 is still unknown. Could it be introduced tomorrow? Sure, that mean that it had a rapid test cycle. Could it be introduced this spring or summer? Sure. But don't reply:

NO G5!

OK, I just wanted to do a Jerry Springer rant without the cussing...

Umm...this is a board for rumors, so what are you expecting to read here, I wonder? If we knew what was going to happen tomorrow, we'd not be hanging around here I bet.

As for you G5 question:
Motorola said the G5 was not ready for release yet.

entirely different beast. Myself and a few others went back and forth on
this topic a while back, feel free to poke around in my posting history to
check it out (~one month ago).

Sorry guys... but I don't think the G5 will be launched. If it is, it will be launched/arrive later near Tokyo or maybe even we'll have to wait until July :(!

Only exaggerated possibilities are rumors. Being realistic about the G4 instead of the G5 is nihilism as far as I'm concerned. There should be a G5 tomorrow with so much power, it can generate a wormhole.
