I currently have a ViewSonic HD TV, a Comcast Motorola Cable Box, and a Panasonic DVD recorder. I was wondering if there's a converter or something to take the HD signal from the Comcast box into my Powerbook. And then do I need an application to record the live television.
Would Tivo be better for this. I don't know very much about Tivo. Is it compatible with Mac. (Basically could I upload the HD recording from the Tivo onto my Powerbook)
