So far I am looking at these for my Air. One is the Speck PixelSleeve, the other is the Civilian Lab Manila-13 Leather Laptop Sleeve and the last one is the Speck TrimSleeve. I'm leaning towards the leather one, the last one pictured.

I actually use a radtech sleeve. I think it cost me $20 but it's well worth it. Super soft, nice tight fit. At first it felt ridiculous and too tight but after just a few days it fit perfect. I have the sleeve and then use it inside an incase 13" case. Super safe. :)

I have the incase neoprene plus sleeve. It was 34.95 and gets the job done.

If you plan to take your MBA with you when you fly in the USA, you may want to check the requirements from the TSA:

http://www.tsa.gov/press/happenings/simplifying_laptop_bag_procedures.shtm

Some sleeves meet these requirements, others do not. The advantage of having a sleeve that meets these requirements is that you can put the MBA through the X-ray with the sleeve on, which gives some additional protection for the device.

I ended up buying a leather, felt-lined case from Mint Cases (http://www.mintcases.com).. You can knock off 10% by using the code "Twitter10"... A little on the pricey side, but well made and pretty good quality leather. I'd prefer that SaddleBack Leather would make one for the MacBook Air, but I didn't see that happening anytime soon.

Since it seems you may have glanced over that set of requirements, care to share the short version? :)

I just got the vertical Waterfield sleeve two days ago. I ordered mine with the velcro closure but no flap. It's very easy to carry and access in my bookbag. $39 + shipping. I like it a lot.

If you feel up to going with a cool style and material for the sleeve, take a look at Colcasac (http://www.colcasac.com/macbook-sleeve). I have the Zagora sleeve for my iPad2 and love it :)

I really like those leather sleeves. I question whether the fit is tight enough to keep the Air from sliding out. The speck sleeve has a snap closure.
