Hey everyone,
My sister recently got a new G5 iMac and the kids were trying to play some older games that they got from the library. Unfortuneatly, the games were made for OS 8 and 9. So I figure, no problem. Just turn on Classic and the games should work just fine.
The problem is that OS 9 wasn't pre-loaded onto the iMac and they don't have any separate OS 9 install CDs. There were 2 disc included; a Software restore and another CD. How does one go about installing OS 9 onto an iMac without an install CD?
I checked Apple's specs for the iMac and it states that "Mac OS X version 10.3 Panther, includes Classic environment", so I'm thinking that OS 9 should have been installed or at least included.
Any comments or answers? Thanks!
