Hey guys, im buying an ibook which i believe is a 700 or 900mhz G3, with a combo drive(cd burner/dvd reader), 40gb hard drive, 256 of ram i think and it has supposedly has 8 months of use on it for $650, do you guys think this is a good deal?
SFVCyclone said:both of you have some really good valid points but the thing is that im getting it from my cousin who pretty much is letting me payhim in increments, i already have a dual 800 but my bro is taking it with him when he moves out, so this is just for the mean time, while i save up a imac G5 or powermac.
lasuther said:Don't buy it. First off, it is more than 8 months old. G4 iBooks have been around for about 1.5 years. Get a new 12" iBook when Tiger comes out. I bought mine from bestbuy.com with 2 years no interest. If you need to save money, look into getting a mac mini.
