I have had the smart cover for about 2 weeks now, and I have noticed that when fully opened and laid across the back, it doesnt stick to the back of the iPad as well as it used to. Is it possible the magnets are already beginning to fail after only 2 weeks?

Anything is possible :) I, for one, am returning the Smart Cover. It is disappointing on so many levels, not the least of which it is flimsy!

I like my Smart cover a lot, and have actually had it longer than I've had the iPad. I haven't found any sign of weakening in the magnet, but some people have noticed that the magnet doesn't work as well when folded around the back. To me this is true, but it is no problem.

As far as flimsy? You can call it lots of things but, in my opinion, "flimsy" is not one of them. It is very well made.

P. S.:Mine is the Grey Poly one.
