iPod touch chat tab not appearing in Facebook app

Hi,

I downloaded facebook app with Push mesaages function for 99 cents to enable chat. It shows only two tabs , one for Contacts and other for profile, it has no option to Chat!!.It does not have any option to reply back to the chat messages i get. when a chat message comes, a window pops up showing the message with 2 options to Show and Close. After clicking on Show, it reverts back to the contacts tab which show no contacts available

Please help me...
