Using a combination of a laptop and a desktop, what do you guys think would be the best set up for dorm room living and campus life? Including any kind of ipod.
Depends on where the money is coming from.CaptainCaveMann said:Using a combination of a laptop and a desktop, what do you guys think would be the best set up for dorm room living and campus life? Including any kind of ipod.

So....if I had to do it again, I would have gotten a dual G5 + an older iBook just for portability. My 15" 1.5 Ghz PB is feeling kinda sluggish now and I would really appreciate the extra power of a PowerMac. Plus, the only times I really move my PB from the iCurve is when I'm headed to the library for a group project or over to a friend's dorm to show him a movie. That and going home, but still I think an older iBook would suffice for that.

but thats just my personal tastes

- External keyboard, mouse, and monitor. This is a must-have, for ergonomical reasons alone.
