I was happy to see this as well. Also noticed the Mac Mini price dropped from 749 to 699 to match the US price.

Yep. But options are still priced differently. 8GB RAM = 210 CAD but only 200USD, Applecare is 199CAD but only 169USD.

I just noticed that to. 🙁 It's still a step in the right direction... we can always buy and install the updates from someplace else. 🙂

I purchased the 2010 i7 a few weeks ago. The total cost was $2635.66

I took it back when I found out about the refresh.

I purchased the 2011 i7 today with the 2gb 6970 and it came to $2612.66!

So yes, the prices have dropped! But in my case I ended up spending around the same. To upgrade to the i7 this time around was 20 bucks cheaper and the imac was $1999 instead of $2050 or $2099 Can't remember what it was before.
