And it's the best iPod iv ever owned. I mean seriously what more can a casual listener ask for? Tiny, wearable and simple. It just plays music, and plays it really well. I think this is the perfect device for people who just want to listen to music and not have any of the videos, Internet, apps attached on to the device. It's just simple and to the point.

So yeah, iPod nano, must buy if all you want is a portable music player oh and also, EVERY SMALL IPOD SHOULD COME WITH A CLIP STANDARD, just having the clip there, something so simple really, REALLY adds to the product and makes it so 100x more useful!

Love it : )

Before I was even to the part where you praised the clip, I was navigating towards the post button to say that the clip is hideous and shouldn't be on there, lol.

I love my new ipod nano too. I especially love the sound quality and the size.

I like the clip... though without it this player would be tiny... an amazing feat.

I bought a new 16GB nano yesterday. I like to doze off with some music playing and having my current gen 64GB iPod Touch smash on to my tile floor would be a disaster

That being said I had an older 4th generation Nano which I loved to death (literally, the battery was really showing signs of age) and decided to move on.

At first I didn't think I was going to like the new 6th generation Nano "touch" as I've gotten so used to the click wheel that I could navigate it without opening my eyes. A spare iPhone 3GS headset fixed that partially so the volume is easily controlled and basic track skipping by clicking the mic button.

I'm still getting used to it, but it's small size is amazing and I must admit the clip does come in rather handy as I know it won't slide and come crashing to the floor. Even if it does, it's far less expensive to replace than my iPod Touch.

I wish (and I may be shot for saying this) that Apple should take a note or two (or just buy the IP entirely) from RIM and the BlackBerry Storm for a "SurePress" click wheel or just bring the wheel back in the next version.

That way, us click wheel lovers will still have the greatest Nano ever. :apple:

I think Apple should take a cue from iRiver and make the screen clickable. Imagine being able to just push the screen down to hit play... though... I can see tons of accidental presses and therefore complaints.

Another thing they could do is add more functions to the "home/power" button. Right now double tap is FF or Play/Pause. Why not give it the headphone button set up? 1 press Play/Pause, 2 press FF, 3 press REW, Long Press for screen on. I think if it had that I'd be 100% satisfied with how the Nano is.

I'm an iPod Nano guy (had the 1G, 2G, 4G and now 6G) and I think the 6G might be my favorite. It's very small, the clip allows you to attach it anywhere (perfect for running and cycling, I got annoyed having my old iPods in my pocket for this) and as a plus, it works as a watch with the countless wrist straps out there! I haven't used it much as a watch yet, but IMO it is quite awesome and during the summer I won't have to worry about carrying a iPod and also having a watch on me, now it's all in one device

The reason the 6G is your favorite is because you never had the 5G:p

Have the 5G and 6G. I use the 6G for the gym, love the built in clip and small size and just leave the 5G in my car.

For you, maybe. In the city where I live, you wouldn't want to go around with a shiny, expensive gadget clipped on to your clothes where everyone can see it.
