iOS Mobile Safari - Timeout value?!

Hi,

I need to know what is the request timeout value for mobile safari (ipad/iphone).

i.e. if I request for a content, say a video, from a local server, and there is no response from the server, how long will the safari wait before reporting a error to user.

is it possible to configure/modify this timeout value?
