DVD player?

Where can i download apple DVD player as it is not installed on my powermac g4 400mhz runnning panther...I have looked on download.com and the apple software page and can only find updated which are of no use as i dont have the actual program,

You can't. The DVD player as an OSX core app is not and has never been available for seperate download. You might be able to extract it from the Panther installer disk using Pacifist or similar.

Shouldn't this one (http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/12701) work...?

(The licence is upgrade, but isn't the complete program there?)

Just use Pacifist (http://www.charlessoft.com) to get the origianl DVD Player app off your OS X installer CDs/DVD.
