Moving iWeb domain from Time Capsule to new MBP

My old MacBook recently died, but it was backed up on my Time Capsule. Got a new MBP, but gave it a different name from my old MacBook (wish I'd known!) so when I transferred data, it didn't do it so neatly. I'm trying to recover the iWeb domain from my Time Capsule. Realize you have to change the permissions before switching a domain to another computer (MacBook permissions were unfortunately only for that computer), but I don't think you can do that on data stored in a Time Capsule - because it's stored, right? Does anyone have an idea for a work-around for this situation, or do I just need to start all over and re-create my entire website?
