My 1.25GHz PB won't read blank CD's or DVD's. Yet it reads CD's and DVD's with data on them just fine. I just burned a couple CD's and DVD's this weekend too. I' m at a loss for words, anybody ever had this happen? 😕

Sorry for my poor choice of words. I mean that they will not mount. Yet they mount and read just fine if they contain data.

Try Sys Prefs

Have you tried looking in System Preferences under 'CDs & DVDs'? You can choose what happens when you insert a blank CD/DVD. I had the same problem...

Wow, that's exactly what was wrong. Thanks mr. McD. It's funny, I don't ever remember changing my preferences to that. 🙂
