I have gone a little crazy with my imac G5 and backed up all my dvd's.
Now my disk utility wouldn't copy a new dvd because it is full.
How do I erase/ discard these .cdr and .dmgs on my system?
I tried eject, erase but each thing I try it says it failed.
What do I do?

Do you know where on your computer you put the disk images? What exactly happens when you eject them, go to the folder in which you saved them, and drag them to trash?

I did find some and throw away but they still appear underneath my harddrive symbol on the Disk Utility window to the left as ________.cdr or _______.dmg

Ah I figured it out.
I went to First Aid, erase destination and dragged them to there.
Thanks
