Emac parts? where can I get em???

hey all, I need to find the little black coil cord that attached the power button to the power source, mine got..uhm...well, it doesnt work anymore, hahaha, so I need a new one as well as the power on button to connect it to. I asked at the apple store and they told me I couldnt buy it, just had to bring it in for a REALLY expensive repair that I could do myself in all of 10 min.. Ugh!!! Anyone know of a website that might have this part?

ok

here in good old bligty i would take the broken part to a store called maplins and hope they can sell me a replacement which does the job !!!

if not just wire a flip switch to power it on or off

sure would look ugly but it would work :)

or ask a apple reseller to see if they can help !!!!
