I have the entry level Mac Mini 2010. 2.4GHz Core 2 Duo, running Snow Leopard 10.6.7, dual-displays. The temp right now is 124, and these are the apps shown as currently running in my dock:

Safari
Mail
iTunes
Twitter for Mac
Todolicious
Activity Monitor

These apps are shown in my status bar:
iStat Menus
Scroll Reverser (preparing for Lion here)
Cinch
BTT (BetterTouchTool)
Caffiene

I just got iStat menus 3, and according to the application, my CPU is running at 120-126 degrees on average. Is this normal? That seems way too hot to me. I don't know much about temps when it comes to computers... :(

Thanks for any help!

Thanks for the quick reply.

I should really do more searching before posting. I just panicked. I didn't wanna lose my baby! Lol.

Thanks!

If your worried about the heat, install smcfancontrol and bump up the fans. Being a tight fit in the mini, the temps fluctuate a bit when the heat and humidity rise. I run my fans around 3000 rpms to keep it cool when putting a load on mine.
