Hi guys,

I've searched online for an answer to this question, but to no avail. Was kind of hoping that someone here could help me. 🙂

I purchased a two-piece iPhone 4 case today made by Griffin. The top snaps onto the bottom piece. I cannot for the life of me figure out how to take it off, and I'm worried about it scratching my phone if I do it improperly.

Does anybody here have any experience in removing this type of case?

Thanks in advance! 🙂

I have a similar case made by Speck. I usually stick a credit card in on one side and then try to pry it open from one of the corners. I wouldn't worry about scratching the phone.

That worked perfectly. After spending 30 painful minutes wrestling with it with my fingernails (cut way too short), the credit card method worked instantly. I actually used an old SIM card.

Thanks for the help, mate! 😀
