macOS How to select mode enabled input sources

Hello. The TISGetInputSourceProperty returns null when I use a mode enabled input source, such as kotoeri. A mode enabled input source is just an input source with sub categories, kotoeri has hiragana, katakana, and romaji for example.

Does anyone know a work around for this? Thanks for any help.
