After downgrading 3g to 3.1.3, my iphone mail account has disappeared

The mail account for my iphone has gone. I can receive email (I get the alert), but can't find the inbox on my phone. My account isn't listed in Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars. Anyone any ideas? I feel like I'm being stupid here...
