I recently returned from a trip to China, where I visited an "Apple Store" in Xian that superficially resembled other Apple Stores in the US, with similar interior design and enthusiastic employees in blue t-shirts. I suspect this isn't a 'real' apple store for the following reasons:

1. No listing of the store on apple.com
2. Fonts were a bit off on the signs
3. Store was selling both the original ipad and ipad2
4. No genius bar
5. Guy behind the counter was using a Dell-branded monitor
6. No apple branded accessories for sale

Otherwise, every item on display was a genuine apple product. Seems a bit fishy. I took some photos though one of the employees told me that photographs were forbidden.

The store was located just east of the Bell Tower in the city center of Xi'an, China. Exact location is here:

It's probably just an Apple reseller.

Yep just a reseller. No need to worry.
