Pioneer has relased a picture regarding its new dvd-r/-rw drive for laptops. I found this in maximum PC's most recent issue. Theres just a picture, but its pretty promising.

I cant post the image because it exceeds the 102400 byte restriction.....

But i have it if i can manage to resize it ( i had the camera's res on the lowest is could go to.)

hmmm, i dunno. Im having silvorX resize it for me (i dont have anything that can). Once hes done ill post it here.

Wow, that thing's tiny. Too bad it isn't slot loading, though that shouldn't be too difficult to manufacture. :)

If they do make a slot-loading one, it should fit in the Cube as well as the Powerbook. :D

Apple could easily modify that to fit in the TiBook case........ even if it meant changing the case to a conventional tray loader......

The drive is really thin though.........

Yea, im suprised this isnt getting more attention.... especially sicne all ive been hearing recently was crap about new tibooks and the fabeld superdive in it...

Wow! I want one in my iBook! Hmmm.....might not happen though...especially with a G3....hmmmm
