Is there a better way to calibrate a PowerBook display than the Display Calibrator Assistant in System Preferences?

In the Macintosh HD/Applications/Utilities folder there is a "ColorSync Utility" which you can try to use.

Why do you need a different way of calibrating your display?

You can try using a utility called SuperCal. It is well recommended by some users on this board.

Good luck.
