Hi guys,

I work in an Applecentre in Australia and there may be truth behind multicoloured iBooks.

When we order from Apple, the packing slips have the colour "White" assigned to iBooks.

Why is this the case? The only other product with this variable is the iMac..

I think its a bad move, because we will end up with unliked colours again.

Cheers

I agree with you. I hope Apple does NOT go into the color crap again.

COLOURS WERE COOL AT FIRST
BUT ITS OLD. THE ONLY PEOPLE WHO LIKED IT WERE KIDS
BECAUSE OF THE COLOURS BUT NOW ITS BORING
BUT THEY STILL LOOK BETTER THAN GREY PCs (PIECES OF CRAP)

Is it THAT difficult to offer more colors? For an extra $50, one could choose color "snap-ons" or such. It wouldn't hurt Apple any, but would still allow those who want a color iBook or PowerMac or PowerBook to have one.

I think I remember some speculation about this before when the white ibooks came out. They have always been listed as white in Apple's store.
