I will be mac-less on May4th or so (giving G4Powermac to a relative so I can upgrade,) do you think there will be a Powermac update on or before or even around then? How can they update the imac without updating the Powermac, seeing as an Imac speed-bump would put it Ghz-wise on par with the Powermac? I've been holding off to get as close to the date as possible since I'm hoping to get a fairly maxed-out system to be my DAW for the next few years. Also, if I get the powermac before going home for the summer, then no sales tax, so, is an update likely?
