I started to write music now. For those of you that write music, what do you find are the best ways, by typing, by writing by hand? How do you do it? Typing the words out seem to help me.

And now I have you.

You were there in my life, when no one else was, now I have you. And now I have you. When I see my world, when I think about where I came from, I think about everything I wanted to know. The passions were so strong, the will to move on, the power to grow, and keep going. When we all thought things were going to end. They would want me to keep going, all of them would want to keep going. We all wanted the same thing, we wanted peace on earth, we wanted love in our community, we wanted to have everything we needed. We needed the moon, we needed the stars, we needed the sun the way the mother needs her son, and the son needs hhe needs his mother.

You were there in my life, when no one else was, now I have you. And Now I have you. When I see my world, when I think about where I came from, I think about everything I wanted to know. There were so many times we would think our love was going to end, but so many times our love became grater that it didn’t compare to when we first met. We could never recall anything, nothing from birth, nothing from life. But when we knew it was so much, when we heard the sirens, when we heard the fires flare, when the planes struck the buildings, and they all fell down. When we thought nothing would end ever, but it always seemed like we may never see each other again.

We often he said forgot how to cry; we often forgot how to even know what it would be like to be apart. We wrote all the words we wrote all the time, but what it mattered, when did it matter? When I think of you, I think of what is happening, I think of what life is like in our world today from the moment you were here.

And now I have you, you were in my life; you were there when no one else was. And now I have you. I see you in the ocean, I see you in the water, in the world around us. We wall want what we want, to be free, to love to live, And now I have you.

We need to keep going, we need to move on from life, we need to write, to see, to be able to sing. We need to love music, to want peace on earth. I want to experience everything you have, when you do, I will be able to keep going. I will be able to move on, because someone said you wanted me to. We are all on an island, the one we dream about as children, when we think about our life, when we think about food and poems and think about our dreams. What do we write when we write?

And now I have you, you were in my life; you were there when no one else was. And now I have you. I see you on an Island. I am here with you and you with me, but please, please don’t go. Don’t leave; we need more than everything else. And now I have you the way the son sets every night. I want to keep loving you the way I love music. I want to be able to love music for ever, to be able to keep going, to be educated, to live and stop the fighting, stop the killing, stop the people that cause fires, stop the people that want to hurt, the people that want to cause pain.
Prayer: Keep going, keep going, we miss you so we keep going.

Well, when I write a song, I first start with the chord structure, although once I did write the words first. Then I sort of come up with a melody by just listening to the chords over and over. Then I write words to fit that melody. I usually write out a few ideas for the words by hand and then finish them up on the computer because it lets you move things around so much easier.

I've never made a song strictly on a computer, but if it works, it works. Whenever I write (which is rarely), it's always while I'm traveling, so I have a huge notebook dedicated to writing ideas.

I find it easier to just come up with words and sing, and see how they flow. But I guess that's just easier for me, since I find myself singing with the oddest beats at the oddest times (I remember being locked outside of a therapy office (wow, that makes me sounds really weird) and I started singing a song about never being able to get in). Ok, yeah, that made me sound ridiculously weird, but it was a massage therapy office. :D

we needed the son the way the mother needs her son, and the son needs her mother

Umm.. the SON needs HER mother? You are a confused young man. Boys have a penis. Girls have a vagina. Hope this helps!

somehow for me just typing the words work. I look at the way people write music, and I see how, different artisits do, think about Mariah Carey and she just writes the same songs over and over again. Well she does that by hand, and I journal by hand, so I find sometimes I can better express myself by the computer typing, it lets me deal with my emotions better. I'd rather do that than keep writing them over and over again. I think college can be a very creative time period for people to write music, for me it has always been. I somehow can just think that way.

I'd be interested in other peoples approaches though.
