iDVD on Mac Mini

Im thinking about getting a Mac mini and i was wondering if it would still have iDVD if i didnt get the superdrive installed? Secondly, would i be able to take a disk image that i created on the hard drive and transfer over my network to another windows computer that has a dvd-r drive? And would that drive be able to burn the image? Lastly how would iDVD run on a 1.25GHz mac mini with 512mb of ram?

for my mom recently. It did come with iLife '05 and I did play with iDVD some. I didn't really test it too much, but it seemed to work ok with a meager 256 MB. Saving your project as a disc image and burning elsewhere will work. Good luck.
