3G stuck on boot logo after redsn0w (ipad bb)

Hi,
This is my first post here, I tried to read and google before posting ...

- I have a 3G on 4.2.1
- I upgraded to iPad baseband in order to unlock after.

My problem is it can't boot ... always stuck on the apple boot logo. I tried "just restore tethered" but no sucess. I tried to re-install 3-4 times the iPad BB too ...



What should I do ?

I have this same problem except i bought it from a guy on craigslist so i dont know what baseband it is. I've tried everything to get it boot up but it wont ever get past the apple logo. I'm assuming the guy i bought it from was trying to do the same thing as you.

restore it to 3.1.3, when iTunes gives you a 1015 error, use tiny umbrella to kick it out of recovery mode and it would boot up normally.
 
Since you have the iPad baseband installed on your iPhone, you're going to need a custom firmware for whichever iOS to restore.

Otherwise if you restore with a stock firmware you're going to receive an error message.

Is it possible to downgrade to 3.1.3 with 06:15 baseband ? 😕

What should I use to create custom IPSW ? Pwnage Tool ?
 
my baseband thing says 05.15.04-6.4_M3S2

I can sync music and everything but on the iphone it is still stuck with an apple logo
 
Alright ... just tried to create a custom firmware using Pwnage Tool for 4.2.1 and 3.1.3 = fail

Is it normal , what program do you use to create custom IPSW ???

Even you have ipad baseband on the phone, downgrade to 3.1.3 works which I did many times.

I believe the reason you receive the firmware is not compatible due to the fact that your phone might be a 3GS and not 3G or you pick a wrong firmware.

Thx, I have now 3.1.3 and the ipad bb !!
