Hi, im buying the new MBA 11" with 4GB ram and i plan to buy the OWC 360GB SSD.

i was thinking of getting the 1.4GHz since its cheaper. is there a difference in speed between 1.4 vs 1.6 ?
 
Since the only difference between them is the clock speed, the 1.6GHz is theoretically 14.3% faster. In real world, you won't notice the difference unless you do something CPU intensive.
 
Anandtech's comparison of the 1.4 and 1.6 GHz versions of the 11" MBA is fantastic.

Generally speaking, Anandtech is a fantastic review site. 😉
